FundedNext Review 2026: FWE Rating
Forex Wave Expert gives FundedNext an overall rating of 81/100.
FundedNext earns a place in our Top Rated category due to its large trader base, strong volume of payout reports, established operating history, multiple challenge options, and competitive trading conditions.
The firm also has one of the largest public review profiles among prop firms.
Still, our FundedNext Review found several areas traders should understand before choosing a program.
The funded-stage news trading rule is restrictive for news traders. Some account models have different reward structures. IP, copy trading, EA, and prohibited-strategy rules also require attention.
Public complaints around spreads, rule enforcement, account restrictions, and customer support during disputes prevent a higher FWE Rating.

What Is FundedNext?
FundedNext is a proprietary trading firm offering simulated trading evaluations and funded-stage accounts.
The firm has grown into one of the better-known names in the prop trading industry.
FundedNext offers different account structures rather than relying on one challenge model.
Popular options include:
Stellar 1-Step
Stellar 2-Step
Stellar Lite
Stellar Instant
Older traders might also have Evaluation or Express accounts purchased before those programs stopped accepting new clients.
Each model has different targets, drawdown limits, minimum trading days, reward schedules, and account conditions.
For this reason, traders should check rules for the exact FundedNext account model they use.
FundedNext Review: Stellar 1-Step
Stellar 1-Step is designed for traders who prefer a single evaluation phase.
The current structure has a 3% Daily Loss Limit and 6% Maximum Loss Limit.
A minimum of two separate trading days is required.
After completing the challenge and verification process, eligible traders move to a FundedNext Account.
The standard initial Reward Share for newer Stellar 1-Step accounts is 80%.
FundedNext also provides a scaling structure where the Reward Share increases to 90% after meeting the required conditions.
One important detail involves older accounts.
Stellar 1-Step challenges purchased or reset before January 12, 2026 follow the previous reward structure.
New purchases or resets from January 12, 2026 follow the newer 80% starting Reward Share structure.
This difference matters when comparing older FundedNext reviews with current conditions. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext Stellar 2-Step Review
Stellar 2-Step has a more traditional prop firm challenge structure.
Phase 1 Profit Target: 8%
Phase 2 Profit Target: 5%
Daily Loss Limit: 5%
Maximum Loss Limit: 10%
Minimum Trading Days: 5 days per phase
Time Limit: No fixed time limit
The 10% Maximum Loss Limit provides more room than the 6% limit found on Stellar 1-Step.
This structure suits traders who prefer a larger drawdown allowance and do not mind completing two evaluation phases.
After passing both phases and completing verification, the FundedNext Account has no further profit target. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext Reward Share
FundedNext reward percentages depend on the account model and selected payout structure.
For Stellar 1-Step, the standard starting Reward Share for newer accounts is 80%.
Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite offer different first-withdrawal structures.
Current options include:
Standard 21-Day Reward: 80%
3-Day Performance Reward: 60%
On-Demand Performance Reward: 90%
A Lifetime Reward 95% Add-On is also available under applicable conditions.
Express accounts follow another structure, starting at 60% and increasing through later withdrawals.
This flexibility is positive.
The downside is complexity.
A trader seeing “up to 95% Reward Share” should still check which model, add-on, and payout option produces the advertised percentage. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext Payout Review
Payout reliability is one of the strongest parts of our FundedNext Review.
Forex Wave Expert gives FundedNext 18/20 for Payout Reliability.
The firm has a large volume of public trader feedback describing successful payouts.
Recent reviews include traders reporting fast payouts and repeated reward experiences.
This public history matters when assessing a prop firm.
At the same time, no prop firm should receive a perfect payout score based only on review-site ratings.
Some negative reviews describe account disputes, rule disagreements, trading-condition complaints, and support issues.
For this reason, FWE looks at both positive and negative reports.
How Often Does FundedNext Pay?
Payout timing depends on the FundedNext program.
For example, Stellar 1-Step FundedNext Accounts currently provide Performance Rewards every five business days from the first trading cycle under the standard structure.
Other models have separate schedules.
Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite also offer checkout options affecting the first withdrawal schedule and Reward Share.
FundedNext therefore provides more payout flexibility than firms using one fixed withdrawal cycle.
Traders should still check the exact reward schedule attached to their account rather than relying on a general FundedNext payout claim. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext News Trading Rule
This is one of the most important sections of our FundedNext Review 2026.
FundedNext allows news trading.
The Challenge Phase is more flexible.
The situation changes after reaching a FundedNext Account on selected Stellar models.
For Stellar 1-Step, Stellar 2-Step, and Stellar Lite FundedNext Accounts, trades executed within five minutes before or five minutes after specified high-impact news events fall under the News Reward Share Rule.
Only 40% of profit generated from affected profitable trades counts toward the account balance.
Losses remain fully counted.
The rule also applies to affected market executions and pending orders, including Stop Loss and Take Profit execution.
For a trader who actively trades major economic news, this is a significant restriction.
Forex Wave Expert views this as one of the main weaknesses in the current FundedNext trading conditions. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext Stellar Instant Review
Stellar Instant provides access without completing a traditional challenge first.
The current Maximum Loss Limit is 6% and follows a trailing structure.
Copy trading between accounts belonging to different people is prohibited.
FundedNext also recommends consistent device and IP usage.
VPN and VPS services are permitted under its stated conditions.
Stellar Instant has a different reward structure from regular challenges.
A Performance Reward becomes available on demand after reaching the required 5% account growth, subject to eligibility checks.
A bi-weekly option also exists when account growth meets the required minimum conditions.
The trailing drawdown structure deserves attention.
Traders used to static drawdown models should understand how the Stellar Instant Maximum Loss Limit works before evaluating this program. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext EA and Trading Bot Rules
EA rules depend on the platform and account setup.
FundedNext permits EAs and trading bots on eligible MetaTrader accounts under stated conditions.
The EA needs to fit the trader’s own strategy.
Duplicate strategies and certain prohibited bots are restricted.
FundedNext also limits allocation tied to one EA or bot strategy.
Match-Trader has different restrictions.
Current documentation for Stellar 2-Step on Match-Trader states automated or algorithmic trading is not permitted there.
This is another example of why traders should check rules for the selected platform instead of assuming one FundedNext EA policy applies everywhere. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext Copy Trading Rules
FundedNext permits copy trading between eligible Challenge Accounts owned by the same trader under specified conditions.
Copy trading between accounts owned by different people is prohibited.
This distinction matters.
Using another person’s trades, account, signal execution setup, or prohibited coordinated strategy might lead to a compliance review.
FundedNext also has rules covering IP usage and VPN or VPS access.
Traders operating from several devices or locations should understand those requirements.
FundedNext IP Address and Device Rules
FundedNext recommends using a consistent device and unique IP address.
VPN and VPS use is supported under stated conditions, with dedicated IP services preferred.
These rules exist partly to protect account ownership and detect unauthorized account sharing.
Still, IP and device policies deserve attention from traders who travel or switch networks frequently.
A change of internet connection does not automatically mean wrongdoing, but maintaining clear account ownership records reduces unnecessary complications.
FundedNext Maximum Daily Loss
The Daily Loss Limit depends on the program.
Stellar 1-Step: 3%
Stellar Lite: 4%
Stellar 2-Step: 5%
Older Evaluation and Express structures also use a 5% Daily Loss Limit.
Daily Loss calculations include relevant running and closed losses.
A trader therefore needs to watch floating drawdown, not only closed positions.
The daily calculation resets according to FundedNext server time. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext Maximum Loss Limit
Maximum Loss also varies by model.
Stellar 1-Step: 6%
Stellar Lite: 8%
Stellar 2-Step: 10%
Stellar Instant uses a separate trailing-loss structure.
Among the standard challenge models, Stellar 2-Step gives traders the largest total drawdown allowance.
The difference between a static-style maximum loss structure and a trailing structure is important when comparing Stellar 2-Step with Stellar Instant. FundedNext Help Center
FundedNext Trader Reviews
FundedNext has one of the largest Trustpilot profiles in the prop firm industry.
At the time of our September 2026 review, Trustpilot displayed around 79,000 reviews and a 4.5/5 TrustScore.
Around 82% were 5-star reviews.
Around 7% were 1-star reviews.
Recent positive reviews commonly mention fast payouts, responsive support, platform experience, and trading rules.
Negative reviews include complaints about spreads, rule enforcement, Stop Loss requirements on applicable programs, support delays, and account conditions.
Review-site scores should never be treated as proof on their own.
Forex Wave Expert uses them as one part of a wider review process. Trustpilot
FundedNext Positive Reviews
Several strengths appear repeatedly in public FundedNext feedback.
Successful payout reports are common.
Support receives many positive comments.
Traders also mention the range of challenge options and payout structures.
The large volume of public feedback gives FundedNext a longer visible record than many smaller prop firms.
This contributes to our 17/20 Trader Feedback & Reputation score.
FundedNext Negative Reviews and Complaints
No serious FundedNext Review should ignore negative feedback.
Recent complaints include concerns around spreads, rule interpretation, account restrictions, Stop Loss-related conditions on applicable programs, and slower support during some disputes.
Some traders also dislike the funded-stage news rule because only 40% of qualifying profit around specified high-impact events counts while losses remain fully applied.
These complaints do not establish wrongdoing by FundedNext.
Individual disputes often require private trading logs and account records unavailable to FWE.
For this reason, Forex Wave Expert separates verified program rules from individual trader allegations.
FundedNext Trading Conditions
Forex Wave Expert gives FundedNext 16/20 for Trading Conditions.
Positive points include several challenge models, no fixed time limit on major Stellar evaluations, multiple payout structures, competitive drawdown on Stellar 2-Step, and flexible program choices.
The main deductions come from rule complexity and restrictions affecting selected strategies.
The news profit adjustment is the clearest example.
Platform-specific EA rules also require careful reading.
Stellar Instant uses trailing drawdown, which will not suit every trading style.
Overall, the conditions remain competitive enough for our Top Rated category.
FundedNext Rules and Transparency
FundedNext receives 15/20 for Rules & Transparency.
The Help Center provides detailed explanations for major account rules.
This is positive.
The main issue is the number of variations.
Different models use different drawdowns.
Reward Share changes according to payout selection.
Older accounts might retain previous conditions.
Platform choice changes some EA rules.
News rules differ between challenge and funded stages.
A trader therefore needs to read the documentation attached to the exact model, platform, and purchase date.
Simpler conditions would improve our rating.
FundedNext Support and Dispute Handling
Forex Wave Expert gives FundedNext 11/15 in this area.
Public feedback contains many positive support experiences.
Recent Trustpilot reviews include traders praising quick answers and helpful support agents.
Negative experiences also exist.
Some traders report delays or dissatisfaction when dealing with more complicated account or rule disputes.
Routine customer support and dispute resolution are different tests.
For FWE, the second area carries more weight when reviewing a prop firm.

Is FundedNext Legit?
FundedNext has a large operating footprint, a substantial public trader community, and a significant history of reported payouts.
Forex Wave Expert does not use the word “legit” as a guarantee of future payouts or account outcomes.
Our assessment focuses on observable factors such as payout history, published rules, trading conditions, trader feedback, support record, and operating history.
Based on those factors, FundedNext currently qualifies for the FWE Top Rated category with an 81/100 score.
Traders should still read the rules attached to their exact account model.
Is FundedNext a Good Prop Firm?
FundedNext scores strongly in payout history, program choice, public reputation, and overall trading conditions.
Stellar 2-Step stands out for its 10% Maximum Loss Limit and 8% plus 5% evaluation targets.
Stellar 1-Step offers a shorter evaluation route but has tighter 3% Daily Loss and 6% Maximum Loss limits.
Stellar Instant serves a different type of trader due to its trailing drawdown structure.
The main area requiring attention is rule selection.
A trader should compare account models rather than treating every FundedNext program as the same product.
Why FundedNext Gets an 81/100 FWE Rating
FundedNext earns 81/100 because its strongest areas are important ones.
Payout feedback is extensive.
The company has a large public track record.
Stellar programs offer several account structures.
The 2-Step drawdown conditions remain competitive.
Reward options are flexible.
The company also maintains a detailed Help Center.
Several issues stop FundedNext from reaching the higher end of our Top Rated range.
The news profit rule is restrictive.
Account and payout structures have become complicated.
EA conditions vary by platform.
Negative trader reports around spreads, account restrictions, and dispute handling also deserve continued monitoring.
For September 2026, FWE places FundedNext at 81/100.
FundedNext Review 2026: FWE Final Assessment
Our FundedNext Review 2026 finds a large and established prop firm with strong payout feedback, several challenge models, competitive Stellar 2-Step conditions, and flexible reward options.
The firm performs particularly well in payout history and public reputation.
The biggest weakness is rule complexity.
Traders need to understand the difference between Stellar 1-Step, Stellar 2-Step, Stellar Lite, and Stellar Instant.
The funded-stage News Reward Share Rule also deserves close attention. For selected Stellar FundedNext Accounts, only 40% of profits from affected trades around specified high-impact news events counts, while losses remain fully applied.
These restrictions matter, but they do not outweigh the firm’s broader strengths in our current assessment.
