AssetsFX Review 2026: Scam or Legit?

AssetsFX Review 2026: Scam or Legit? Withdrawal Problems & Complaints

If you are searching for an AssetsFX review before depositing money, there are some important issues you should know about.

AssetsFX has been operating in the forex market for several years. The broker offers forex, gold and CFD trading through MetaTrader platforms. It also promotes high leverage, bonuses and different account types.

These features may look attractive.

But a broker should not be judged only by spreads, leverage or bonuses. The most important question comes when you make money and try to withdraw it.

During our AssetsFX review, Forex Wave Expert found several public complaints involving withdrawal problems, rejected withdrawals, restricted accounts and disputed trading activity.

Some of these complaints are recent. Others go back several years.

AssetsFX has responded publicly to several complaints and disputes many of the allegations.

After looking at both sides, Forex Wave Expert gives AssetsFX a score of 28/100.

FWE Risk Level: Very High Risk

FWE Status: Scam Watch

Important: Scam Watch does not mean that a court or financial regulator has legally declared AssetsFX a scam. It means our research found enough serious complaints and risk indicators to place the broker in our highest-risk category.

AssetsFX Rating 2026: 28/100

Forex Wave Expert does not rate a forex broker based on one angry client or one Trustpilot review.

We use the same 100-point system when reviewing brokers.

FWE Broker Rating Category Score
Regulation & Fund Safety 8/25
Withdrawal & Fund Access 4/20
Reputation & Client Complaints 3/15
Trading Conditions & Execution 6/15
Transparency & Terms 2/10
Customer Support & Dispute Handling 2/10
Track Record 3/5
Total FWE Score 28/100

Our broker rating levels are:

80–100: Top Rated
65–79: Recommended
50–64: Average / Neutral
35–49: High Risk / Caution
0–34: Scam Watch / Very High Risk

AssetsFX falls into the last category with 28/100.

Let us explain why.

Is AssetsFX Regulated? Regulation & Fund Safety – 8/25

AssetsFX identifies Assets Global Ltd in Mauritius as the company behind the broker.

AssetsFX also presents regulatory information relating to the Mauritius Financial Services Commission on its website.

Having identifiable corporate and regulatory information is better than dealing with an anonymous offshore trading website. That is one reason AssetsFX does not receive zero points here.

However, traders should independently verify the company’s current licence and exactly which services that licence covers before depositing significant capital.

There is another point worth understanding.

According to the AssetsFX Order Execution Policy, the company acts as principal or counterparty when executing client transactions. The policy also describes AssetsFX as the sole execution venue for client orders.

This type of model is not automatically evidence of wrongdoing. Similar execution structures exist elsewhere in retail forex.

But it means traders should understand the broker’s execution model and counterparty risk.

For regulation and fund safety, we give AssetsFX:

8/25

AssetsFX Withdrawal Problems and Complaints – 4/20

This is one of the main reasons AssetsFX receives a low FWE rating.

During our research, we found several public complaints involving:

Withdrawal rejection

Withdrawal delays

Problems accessing accounts

Disputed profits

Restrictions after withdrawal requests

Disputes involving client funds

Not every AssetsFX trader reports these problems.

AssetsFX also has clients who say they successfully withdrew their money.

But when we rate a broker, serious complaints involving access to client funds carry much more weight than normal comments about spreads or customer service.

For Withdrawal & Fund Access, AssetsFX receives:

4/20

AssetsFX Trustpilot Reviews and Withdrawal Complaints

AssetsFX currently has a mixed Trustpilot profile.

At the time of our research, Trustpilot showed approximately 176 reviews, an overall score of around 3.5/5, and roughly 14% 1-star reviews.

A majority of reviews were positive.

That needs to be acknowledged.

However, we also found recent complaints involving rejected withdrawals and other fund-related disputes.

One verified reviewer in September 2026 reported that a withdrawal was rejected.

Another Bangladesh-based client reported problems involving a $1,305 withdrawal. According to the review, the client later encountered restrictions when trying to make another withdrawal.

Another reviewer reported a dispute after depositing $100 and making a profit.

AssetsFX has challenged some of these allegations publicly and says its internal records do not support certain client claims.

This is why we do not simply repeat every Trustpilot complaint as a fact.

But repeated withdrawal complaints are something traders should consider.

AssetsFX Withdrawal Rejected: Bangladesh Trader Case

Forex Wave Expert also reviewed screenshots relating to a dispute between AssetsFX and a Bangladesh trader.

This case is particularly relevant because we were able to examine some of the trader’s own account screenshots.

According to the trader, his previous account balance had reached zero.

He then made a fresh deposit of $300 and received $90 promotional credit.

The MT5 trading-history screenshot reviewed by Forex Wave Expert shows:

Deposit: $300

Credit: $90

Trading Profit: $134.62

Displayed Balance: $524.62

The trader says he traded XAUUSD manually and later requested a withdrawal.

According to his complaint, AssetsFX rejected the withdrawal.

He further alleges that access to his MT5 account and AssetsFX client portal was later blocked.

One screenshot supplied to Forex Wave Expert shows the MT5 journal displaying:

“authorization on AssetsGlobal-Server failed (Invalid account)”

Another screenshot shows that the client could no longer log in to the portal using the displayed credentials.

These screenshots support the trader’s claim that he could not access the account at that point.

However, the screenshots alone cannot prove why AssetsFX disabled the account or independently establish what happened to every part of the account balance.

That distinction is important.

What Did AssetsFX Say About This Case?

AssetsFX has also presented its side.

In its public response, the broker referred specifically to MT5 account #500363.

AssetsFX stated that the client’s historical deposits totalled $5,971, while previous withdrawals totalled $7,878.17.

According to the broker, this meant the trader had previously withdrawn more than his historical deposits.

AssetsFX also alleged that its compliance investigation identified coordinated activity involving accounts associated with the client’s IB network.

The broker referred to similar trading patterns and alleged violations connected with promotional activity.

The trader rejects this explanation.

His argument is simple.

He says his previous account had already reached zero. The disputed $300 was then deposited as fresh money.

His position is that even if AssetsFX cancelled the $90 bonus or disputed the $134.62 profit, his own $300 deposit should have remained separate.

Forex Wave Expert cannot independently decide which side is legally correct.

But the dispute raises an important question for anyone considering an AssetsFX bonus:

What happens to your original deposit if AssetsFX decides that you have violated its promotional conditions?

Traders should get a clear answer to this before accepting a bonus.

AssetsFX Forex Peace Army Complaints

Trustpilot was not the only place where we found serious complaints.

Forex Peace Army has a long history of discussion about AssetsFX.

At the time of our research, its AssetsFX page displayed a rating of approximately 2.09/5 from 16 reviews.

More importantly, some of the complaints involve significant amounts of money.

The $10,000 AssetsFX Complaint

One particularly serious complaint appeared on Forex Peace Army in 2025.

A trader claimed to have deposited $10,000 with AssetsFX.

According to his account, his balance was approximately $9,700 when he requested a $5,000 withdrawal.

The trader alleged that the withdrawal was cancelled.

He later claimed that trades he did not recognize appeared on the account and resulted in substantial losses.

The complaint included further allegations involving BTCUSD trades.

These allegations are serious.

But they remain allegations made by the trader.

We have not found a court judgment or regulator decision proving that AssetsFX deliberately placed those trades.

Forex Wave Expert therefore treats this as a serious public complaint, not proven fraud.

That difference matters.

AssetsFX Complaints About Unexpected Trades

The $10,000 case is not the only public complaint involving disputed trading activity.

We also found Trustpilot complaints where clients alleged that unexpected XAUUSD trades appeared on their accounts.

In one case, a reviewer alleged that two gold positions appeared while a withdrawal was pending.

AssetsFX strongly disputed the allegation.

According to the broker, its investigation showed that the trades originated from the client’s device. The company published trading details in its response.

Another reviewer made a broadly similar complaint involving a two-lot gold position.

AssetsFX responded that it could not identify the corresponding trading account from the information supplied.

We cannot use these reviews to conclude that AssetsFX placed unauthorized trades.

There is not enough independently verified evidence for that conclusion.

However, multiple public complaints involving disputed trades are relevant when assessing broker risk.

AssetsFX Withdrawal Complaints Are Not New

One issue that stood out during our research was the age of some AssetsFX withdrawal complaints.

Forex Peace Army contains a discussion dating back to 2021 in which a client reported waiting approximately one month for a withdrawal.

The corporate structure associated with the AssetsFX brand at that time was not necessarily identical to the structure presented today.

For that reason, we do not use a 2021 complaint as proof of a current 2026 withdrawal problem.

But historical complaints still matter when reviewing the track record of a broker.

Forex Peace Army Warning About AssetsFX Reviews

We found another issue on Forex Peace Army that deserves attention.

FPA currently carries a historical warning relating to AssetsFX reviews.

Forex Peace Army states that it received multiple highly suspicious positive reviews involving AssetsFX during 2013 and advises a very high level of caution.

FPA also displays a moderation note involving a 5-star AssetsFX review where the rating was removed because of concerns about its origin.

This is Forex Peace Army’s assessment, not a finding made by Forex Wave Expert.

We cannot independently confirm who submitted those historical reviews.

However, review integrity matters.

Traders often rely heavily on ratings when selecting a forex broker. Suspicious review activity therefore deserves consideration when assessing reputation.

Reputation & Client Complaints – 3/15

This brings us to the AssetsFX reputation score.

Every broker receives complaints.

A broker should not lose most of its reputation score simply because a few clients leave negative reviews.

The problem here is the type of complaints we found.

They include reports involving:

Withdrawal rejection

Withdrawal delays

Restricted account access

Disputed profits

Original deposit disputes

Unexpected-trade allegations

Older withdrawal issues

Forex Peace Army warnings

These complaints come from different periods and different sources.

AssetsFX disputes several of them.

Even after considering those responses, we believe the overall complaint profile creates enough concern to justify:

Reputation & Client Complaints: 3/15

AssetsFX Trading Conditions & Execution – 6/15

AssetsFX does have some attractive trading features.

It provides access to popular MetaTrader platforms and offers forex, precious metals and other CFD products.

The broker also promotes competitive trading conditions and high leverage.

These features earn AssetsFX some points.

But a good broker rating cannot be based on leverage and spreads alone.

Execution quality, counterparty structure and disputes involving trading activity also matter.

As discussed earlier, AssetsFX’s own execution policy describes the company as principal/counterparty and sole execution venue for client transactions.

This does not make AssetsFX a scam.

But combined with the disputed-trade complaints we found, we believe traders should understand the execution model before depositing significant capital.

Trading Conditions & Execution: 6/15

AssetsFX Bonus Rules and Transparency – 2/10

AssetsFX publishes legal documents and policies on its website.

This is positive.

But transparency is not only about having a Terms and Conditions page.

A trader should be able to understand what happens to:

Their original deposit

Trading profit

Bonus funds

Pending withdrawals

Account access

if the broker believes a promotional rule has been violated.

The Bangladesh trader case discussed above is a good example of why this matters.

The broker alleges promotional abuse.

The trader argues that his fresh $300 deposit should still have been returned even if the bonus or profit was disputed.

We cannot decide that contractual dispute.

But when the treatment of original deposited capital becomes part of a public dispute, we consider it a serious transparency concern.

Transparency & Terms: 2/10

AssetsFX Customer Support & Complaint Handling – 2/10

There is something positive to mention here.

AssetsFX responds publicly to many negative reviews.

The company also publishes a Complaint Handling Policy.

That is better than a broker completely ignoring client disputes.

But replying to a Trustpilot review and resolving a financial dispute are two different things.

Several complaints we reviewed involve traders who say they did not receive a satisfactory resolution.

AssetsFX disputes some of those accounts.

Considering both sides:

Customer Support & Dispute Handling: 2/10

AssetsFX Track Record – 3/5

AssetsFX is not a brand that appeared yesterday.

It has a long online history.

That is why we give it some credit in this category.

However, older withdrawal complaints and the historical Forex Peace Army warning prevent us from giving AssetsFX a strong track-record score.

Track Record: 3/5

Does AssetsFX Have Positive Reviews?

Yes.

This is important because a fair AssetsFX review should not hide positive information.

At the time of our research, around 70% of its Trustpilot reviews were 5-star.

Some clients report successful withdrawals, good support and satisfactory trading conditions.

AssetsFX also responds publicly to many complaints rather than ignoring them.

These are positive factors.

They are part of the reason AssetsFX receives 28/100 rather than zero.

But Forex Wave Expert gives much more weight to complaints involving access to client money than ordinary positive comments about spreads, leverage or customer service.

Is AssetsFX Legit?

AssetsFX has an identifiable corporate presence and publishes regulatory and legal information on its website.

So this is not a situation where we found nothing behind the broker except an anonymous website.

However, being an identifiable broker does not automatically make every trading or withdrawal dispute irrelevant.

The repeated complaints we found are the main reason for our low rating.

Anyone considering AssetsFX should independently verify its latest regulatory status and licence details before depositing money.

Is AssetsFX Safe?

We do not consider the available evidence strong enough to place AssetsFX among the brokers that Forex Wave Expert would currently rate as low risk.

Our research found too many serious complaints involving withdrawals, account access and disputed trading activity.

Some allegations have been strongly challenged by AssetsFX.

That is why this review includes the broker’s responses as well as the complaints.

Based on the information available at the time of this review, AssetsFX remains in our Very High Risk category.

Is AssetsFX a Scam?

We have not found a court judgment or financial regulator decision establishing that AssetsFX is a scam.

Therefore, Forex Wave Expert does not present “AssetsFX is a scam” as a proven fact.

What we can document is a pattern of serious public complaints.

These include withdrawal disputes, restricted-account allegations, disputed trades, the $10,000 Forex Peace Army complaint and older withdrawal concerns.

That is enough for Forex Wave Expert to place AssetsFX on our Scam Watch list.

Scam Watch is a risk classification used by FWE. It is not a legal finding of fraud.

AssetsFX Review 2026: Final Verdict

After reviewing AssetsFX regulation information, withdrawal complaints, Trustpilot reviews, Forex Peace Army reports, trading conditions, transparency and client disputes, our final rating is:

Regulation & Fund Safety: 8/25

Withdrawal & Fund Access: 4/20

Reputation & Client Complaints: 3/15

Trading Conditions & Execution: 6/15

Transparency & Terms: 2/10

Customer Support & Dispute Handling: 2/10

Track Record: 3/5

FWE AssetsFX Rating: 28/100

Risk Level: Very High Risk

Status: Scam Watch

AssetsFX has some positive features. The broker has been around for years, provides popular trading platforms and has many positive customer reviews.

But those positives do not remove the concerns we found.

For Forex Wave Expert, protecting trading capital and being able to withdraw funds are more important than a high leverage offer or trading bonus.

Until we see stronger evidence that the serious withdrawal and account disputes discussed in this review have been resolved, AssetsFX will remain on our Scam Watch list.

If new verified information becomes available, Forex Wave Expert may update this review.
