Funded Trading Plus Review 2026

Funded Trading Plus has been part of the prop trading industry for several years. The firm became popular with traders because of its flexible evaluation programs, different account structures and long history of reported payouts.

But 2026 has been an important year for Funded Trading Plus.

Instant Funding acquired Funded Trading Plus in May 2026. Since the acquisition, parts of the business, rules and operating structure have changed.

There are still many positive trader experiences online. Some traders report receiving payouts successfully and using Funded Trading Plus for a long period without major problems.

Recent feedback, however, is more mixed.

Some traders have reported payout delays, slower customer support, delayed funded-account activation and other operational problems following the ownership changes.

In this Funded Trading Plus Review 2026, Forex Wave Expert looks at both sides. We examine the current programs, trading rules, payout requirements, trader complaints and positive experiences before explaining why FWE currently rates the firm 53/100.

Funded Trading Plus Review 2026: Quick Overview

Funded Trading Plus, also known as FT+, offers several simulated prop trading programs.

The current selection includes different evaluation structures as well as instant-style programs.

One advantage is the amount of choice available.

Traders can find programs with different profit targets, drawdown structures and payout conditions.

The downside is that the rules are not identical across every program.

For example, some accounts use trailing drawdown while other programs have different loss structures. Weekend holding and payout conditions can also change depending on the program.

This is why an older Funded Trading Plus review may not accurately describe every current FT+ account.

Funded Trading Plus Ownership Changed in 2026

This is one of the most important developments to understand when reading a Funded Trading Plus review in 2026.

Instant Funding acquired Funded Trading Plus in May 2026.

The two brands were expected to continue operating separately while sharing technology, infrastructure and operational resources.

Funded Trading Plus later confirmed another administrative change.

From June 29, 2026, card payments processed through Checkout.com began showing ACELLO LTD instead of FTP LONDON LTD on customer bank statements.

FT+ said the change followed the acquisition and was administrative.

An acquisition is not automatically a negative event. New ownership can bring better technology, investment and operational improvements.

At the same time, an ownership change means older trader experiences may not fully represent the company as it operates today.

For that reason, recent 2026 feedback receives more attention in our current FWE assessment.

Funded Trading Plus Review: 1-Step Express Rules

The 1-Step Express program has a relatively simple headline structure.

Current published conditions include:

  • 10% simulated profit target
  • 4% daily drawdown
  • 6% relative maximum drawdown
  • No time limit
  • No stop-loss requirement
  • Overnight holding allowed
  • Weekend holding allowed

The maximum drawdown is relative rather than completely static.

That difference matters because traders need to understand exactly how the drawdown moves before deciding whether the account structure suits their trading approach.

FT+ also maintains wider Risk Management Policies and prohibited-practice rules.

Reaching the profit target alone does not remove those requirements.

Funded Trading Plus Review: 2-Step Classic and Consistency

Consistency is one area traders should pay attention to before choosing the 2-Step Classic program.

Under the current structure, Funded Trading Plus applies a 35% consistency limit during both challenge steps.

The published profit target is 7% for each stage.

This means one unusually profitable trading day can affect when the challenge becomes eligible to pass.

The company describes the rule as a way of encouraging sustainable trading rather than relying on one exceptionally profitable day.

Funded Trading Plus Help Center

For traders researching FT+, this rule deserves more attention than simply looking at the advertised profit target.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Pass Now Pay Later

Funded Trading Plus also offers a Pass Now Pay Later structure.

The challenge stage currently includes:

  • 2% simulated profit target
  • 4% daily loss limit
  • 6% static drawdown
  • No time limit
  • No minimum trading days
  • No consistency rule during the challenge

Under this model, the initial entry cost is small and a larger activation payment comes after successfully completing the challenge.

However, the funded stage has different conditions.

A 25% payout consistency rule applies after reaching the funded stage.

Funded Trading Plus Help Center

This distinction is important. A challenge without a consistency requirement does not necessarily mean the funded payout stage also has no consistency requirement.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Funded Account Consistency Rule

The current payout consistency requirement is one of the main rules traders need to understand.

On applicable funded accounts, no single trading day’s simulated profit can represent more than 25% of the total simulated profit when a payout is requested.

Breaking this percentage does not necessarily close the account.

Instead, the payout is not yet eligible.

Trading can continue until total profit increases enough for the highest-profit day to fall within the required percentage.

Funded Trading Plus Help Center

This is better than treating the consistency issue as an automatic hard breach, but it can still delay payout eligibility after one unusually profitable day.

Funded Trading Plus Review 2026: Payout Rules

Current payout conditions deserve careful attention because they have changed from some older FT+ structures.

For applicable activation funded accounts, three main conditions need to be satisfied:

  • At least 10 trading days must have passed since the first funded-account trade.
  • The account needs at least 3% simulated profit.
  • The trader needs to satisfy the 25% payout consistency rule.

The minimum payout request is $50.

Reaching ten trading days alone does not automatically make a payout eligible. All applicable requirements need to be satisfied when the request is made.

Funded Trading Plus Help Center

This is an important difference when comparing recent Funded Trading Plus conditions with older reviews.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Profit Split

On the activation funded-account structure reviewed by FWE, Funded Trading Plus currently provides an 80% simulated profit split.

The published conditions state that this split does not increase over time on that particular program.

Funded Trading Plus Help Center

An 80% split is a positive feature, but profit split alone should never be used to judge a prop firm.

Payout eligibility, drawdown rules, consistency requirements and actual trader experiences are equally important.

Funded Trading Plus Review: News Trading

News trading is relatively flexible on several current FT+ programs.

For example, the Pass Now Pay Later program allows news trading during both the challenge and funded stages.

Weekend holding and weekend trading are also permitted under that program.

Funded Trading Plus Help Center

This can be useful for traders comparing FT+ with prop firms that apply tighter restrictions around news events or weekend positions.

However, exact rules should always be checked for the specific program because Funded Trading Plus offers several different account structures.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Hard Breach Rules

Funded Trading Plus separates certain account requirements into hard and other rule categories.

Breaking a daily simulated loss limit or maximum simulated loss limit can result in account closure.

The firm also has an inactivity requirement.

An account can breach if no qualifying trade is placed within a 30-day period. This applies to evaluation accounts as well as FT+ Trader simulated live accounts.

Funded Trading Plus Help Center

This is another example of why reading only the advertised profit target is not enough.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Instant Program

Funded Trading Plus also has an Instant Program.

This program starts directly in simulated funded conditions without a traditional evaluation.

The current structure uses:

  • 6% daily drawdown
  • 6% relative trailing maximum drawdown
  • $50 minimum withdrawal

The maximum drawdown follows a high-watermark structure.

Funded Trading Plus Help Center

Trailing drawdown can become more restrictive as an account becomes profitable.

For that reason, traders researching the Instant Program should understand the drawdown calculation rather than focusing only on immediate funded access.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Payout Reliability

Payout history is one of the stronger positive areas for Funded Trading Plus.

There are traders who report receiving multiple payouts over an extended period.

One July 2026 Trustpilot reviewer said they had used Funded Trading Plus since 2024 and had received every payout requested during that period. The reviewer also reported receiving another payout successfully despite not receiving the usual confirmation email.

This type of long-term positive experience matters.

It would therefore be inaccurate to describe Funded Trading Plus as a firm with no successful payout history.

However, the more recent picture is not completely positive.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Recent Payout Complaints

Several public reviews from 2026 describe payout delays.

One September reviewer said a payout request had remained unresolved for more than a week after previously experiencing faster processing.

Another trader reported a much longer withdrawal problem. Funded Trading Plus publicly responded to that complaint, apologised for the delay and asked for account information so the issue could be manually corrected.

Another complaint involved disagreement about withdrawal records and the timing shown in the trader dashboard.

Funded Trading Plus Trustpilot reviews

These are individual public experiences.

Forex Wave Expert does not have access to private payment records, complete account histories or internal company systems.

We therefore report these complaints as trader experiences rather than treating them as proven evidence of a company-wide payout problem.

Still, the recent payout-delay reports are significant enough to affect our current FWE Rating.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Support Complaints

Customer support feedback has also become more mixed.

Some traders describe previous FT+ support as responsive and helpful.

Recent complaints include slower replies, unresolved tickets and repetitive responses during payout or account problems.

There are also cases where Funded Trading Plus publicly responded and attempted to resolve an issue.

This creates a mixed picture.

The concern is not that every customer receives poor support. Instead, recent complaints suggest that complicated payout and account issues may take longer to resolve than some traders expect.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Funded Account Activation Complaints

Another recent concern involves delays after passing an evaluation.

A September 2026 reviewer said they completed KYC and contract requirements but their funded credentials remained disabled for several days.

Another August reviewer complained that receiving the funded account took considerably longer than the person’s previous experience with FT+.

Again, individual reviews cannot establish a universal problem.

But several recent reports involving activation or operational delays are relevant when evaluating the company’s current service following the ownership transition.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Trustpilot Warning

This is one point we should not ignore.

The Funded Trading Plus Trustpilot profile currently displays a warning stating that Trustpilot has removed a number of fake reviews for the company.

At the same time, the profile has more than 2,600 reviews.

The displayed distribution is heavily positive, with around 90% shown as 5-star and approximately 3% as 1-star at the time of our review.

View the Funded Trading Plus Trustpilot profile

The fake-review warning does not prove that every positive review is fake.

It also does not prove misconduct in any individual trader account.

However, it reduces how much weight FWE is willing to place on the headline review distribution by itself.

For this reason, we consider individual trader reports, company responses, official rules and recent operational developments alongside Trustpilot.

Funded Trading Plus Review: Positive Trader Experiences

There are genuine positive points in the current picture.

Funded Trading Plus has operated for several years and has a large public review history.

Many traders report successful payouts, while some reviewers describe receiving repeated payouts over a long period.

Several programs allow news trading and weekend holding.

The company publishes detailed information about drawdown, payout eligibility and consistency requirements.

Some consistency failures delay eligibility rather than immediately closing the account.

The 80% split on applicable programs is another positive point.

These factors matter and are part of the reason FWE does not currently place Funded Trading Plus in our higher-risk category.

Funded Trading Plus Review 2026: Main Concerns

The negative side has become more important during 2026.

Our main concerns include:

  • Recent payout-delay complaints
  • Customer-support complaints
  • Funded-account activation delays
  • Ownership and operational changes
  • 25% funded payout consistency requirement on applicable accounts
  • 35% consistency requirement on the 2-Step Classic challenge
  • Trailing drawdown on certain programs
  • Different rules across multiple programs
  • Recent dashboard and withdrawal-record complaints
  • Trustpilot fake-review warning

None of these issues proves that every trader will experience the same problem.

However, taken together, they justify a more cautious rating than we would give a firm with a cleaner recent operational record.

Why Forex Wave Expert Rates Funded Trading Plus 53/100

Forex Wave Expert currently rates Funded Trading Plus 53/100.

That places the firm in our Average / Neutral category.

There are several reasons why the score is not lower.

Funded Trading Plus has a meaningful operating history. There are many reports of successful payouts, including traders describing multiple successful withdrawals.

The firm provides several account structures and publishes detailed rules. News trading and weekend holding are also available on several programs.

But there are also reasons we cannot currently give FT+ a Recommended rating.

Recent payout and support complaints deserve attention.

The 2026 ownership transition creates additional uncertainty because older positive experiences may not fully represent the current operation.

Payout consistency requirements can also affect when profitable traders become eligible to withdraw.

Finally, the Trustpilot fake-review warning means FWE does not rely heavily on the headline review distribution when calculating the current rating.

FWE Rating: 53/100

This rating is not permanent. If payout reliability, customer support and operational stability improve under the new ownership, the rating can be reviewed again.

Funded Trading Plus Review 2026: Final Assessment

FWE Rating
53/100
Average / Neutral

Funded Trading Plus has both strengths and concerns.

Its longer operating history and successful payout reports are important positives.

The company also offers several program structures, detailed published rules and relatively flexible news and weekend trading conditions on some accounts.

However, 2026 has changed the picture.

Instant Funding acquired Funded Trading Plus in May.

Since then, recent public feedback includes complaints about payout delays, customer support, funded-account activation and other operational issues.

The current payout structure also includes consistency requirements that traders need to understand before reaching the withdrawal stage.

Some complaints have received responses from Funded Trading Plus, while others involve facts that Forex Wave Expert cannot independently verify.

We therefore avoid treating individual allegations as proven company-wide behavior.

Based on the information reviewed in October 2026, Forex Wave Expert rates Funded Trading Plus 53/100 and places the firm in the Average / Neutral category.

The score reflects both its established payout history and the increased uncertainty created by recent operational changes and trader complaints.

Editorial Transparency

Forex Wave Expert reviews prop firms using published company rules, public trader feedback, company responses and independent editorial research.

Individual trader complaints are treated as reported experiences unless sufficient independent evidence establishes what happened.

The same principle applies to positive reviews. A successful payout reported by one trader does not guarantee the same result for every account.
