For gold, 1 pip is 0.10 in price. So +520 pips equals a net move of 52.00 dollars per ounce across the week’s trades. Your own result depends on lot size, entry time, spread and slippage, so it will not match these pips exactly.

The weekly summary lists direction and pips for each trade. It does not list entry, stop loss (SL) or take profit (TP) prices, so those columns are left out here rather than guessed. The order is the order shown in the summary.

What gold did this week

Gold began November near 3,900 dollars after a 146 dollar fall on the last Friday of October, and the 2026 low of 3870 was still fresh. On Monday and Tuesday it recovered a little, trading near 3,950 as hopes of a US and Iran deal pushed oil lower. These are facts from market reports. The late October outlook in our gold forecast for the week of 02 November was built around that bearish backdrop.

The picture changed in the middle of the week. After the US midterm elections, reports said the Democrats took control of both chambers of Congress, the dollar and Treasury yields weakened, and gold climbed back above 4,000 dollars. On Thursday it reached a two week high near 4,147 before turning lower. FXStreet also reported that the odds of a Fed rate hike in December dropped to 66% from 82% that day. By Friday gold was trading below 4,100 as the dollar recovered, with the US jobs report (NFP) still to come. This post does not assume what that report showed.

Which trades worked and which failed

Eight of the ten signals were sells, which matched the bearish trend that gold had been in. Two were buys, both on Wednesday.

DirectionTradesWins / LossesNet pips
Sell84 / 4+260
Buy22 / 0+260

The sells won half the time but still made money, because the winners (+90, +200, +230, +150) were larger than the losers. The sells that lost on Wednesday (-130 and -80) are consistent with the sharp rebound after the election result, when gold moved against the trend. The two Wednesday buys (+90 and +170) caught part of that rebound. The Friday sell (+150) fits with gold slipping back under 4,100 after the two week high. We do not have entry times in the summary, so treat these links between trades and news as interpretation, not proof.

The biggest win was +230 pips on 03 November. The biggest losses were -130 pips, which happened twice.

What the numbers say about risk

  • Average win: 930 divided by 6 is 155 pips.
  • Average loss: 410 divided by 4 is 102.5 pips.
  • Average win to average loss: about 1.5 to 1.
  • Pips won divided by pips lost: 930 divided by 410, about 2.27.

A 60% win rate with winners that are about 1.5 times the size of losers gives a positive week. It is only one week of ten trades, so it says little about the next month. A different mix of the same trades, for example one more loss of 130 pips, would have cut the net to +390 pips.

Worked example: what 4 losses cost at different risk levels

This is a hypothetical example, not an FWE account. Take a 10,000 dollar account. Risking 1% means 100 dollars per trade. With a 130 pip stop (13.00 dollars per ounce), one standard lot of 100 ounces would lose 1,300 dollars. So the position size is 100 divided by 1,300, which is 0.077 lots, rounded down to 0.07 lots. If the stop is hit, the loss is 7 ounces times 13 dollars, or 91 dollars (0.91%).

Four stopped trades at 1% risk cost roughly 4% of the account. The same four losses at 5% risk each would cost about 20%. That is the difference between a normal losing streak and a damaged account. Our guide on how to calculate lot size in forex shows the steps with more examples.

Lessons from this week

  • Every trade needs a stop loss. Four losses took 410 pips from the week. With stops in place, none of them became a large problem. Without stops, one trade against a 3% gold rebound can wipe out several good weeks.
  • Losses clustered on one day. Wednesday had two losing sells in a row before the buys worked. On a prop firm account with a daily loss limit, two or three stops in a row can use up a large part of your allowance. Reduce size on volatile news days.
  • Moving SL to break even and booking partial profit are tools, not tricks. They protect a trade that has already moved in your favour. They also cut some winners short, which is the price you pay for lower risk. None of the 10 results in this summary is marked as break even.
  • Do not raise your lot size after a green week. Beginners often do this and lose the profit in the next losing streak. Keep risk per trade small and fixed.
  • Judge a signal service over many weeks. One week of +520 pips is a data point. Compare it with the previous weekly report, XAUUSD signal results for 26 to 30 October 2026 (+147 pips net), and with the full month in our October 2026 forex signal results.

Forex signals in Bangladesh: use them as learning, not as a reason to deposit

If you read forex signals in Bangladesh, the first point is safety. Forex Wave Expert does not encourage anyone in Bangladesh to deposit or invest money with forex brokers. Bangladesh’s foreign exchange rules, including the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act 1947 and Bangladesh Bank warnings, restrict sending money abroad for online forex trading. Many IBs (introducing brokers) push people to deposit only to earn commission, and people lose money this way.

FWE supports a different route: learn properly, take a prop firm challenge, and receive any payout through official banking channels with the right documents, following your bank’s process. For legal or tax questions, confirm with your bank or a qualified adviser. Signals and results like these are for study and for understanding the reasons behind a trade.

Frequently asked questions about weekly forex signal results

These answers use only this week’s figures.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many pips did FWE gold signals make from 02 to 06 November 2026?

The signals closed with +930 pips from winning trades and -410 pips from losing trades. The net result for the week was +520 pips from 10 gold signals. These figures come from the FWE weekly result summary, and real account results will differ with spread, slippage and lot size.

What was the win rate this week?

The win rate was 60%. Six of the ten signals closed in profit and four closed at a loss. No break even or cancelled trades are listed. The win rate is the number of winning trades divided by total trades, so 6 divided by 10.

Is a 60% win rate good for gold signals?

It can be, but only together with reward to risk. This week the average win was 155 pips and the average loss was 102.5 pips. A lower win rate can still be profitable if winners are larger than losers. One week is too small a sample to judge.

How do I read pips for XAUUSD?

For gold, 1 pip is a 0.10 move in price. A move of 1.00 dollar is 10 pips, so 130 pips is 13.00 dollars. The money value depends on lot size. One standard lot is 100 ounces, so each 1.00 dollar move changes a standard lot by 100 dollars.

Are forex signals safe to follow from Bangladesh?

Signals carry trading risk, and FWE does not encourage depositing with forex brokers from Bangladesh. Use signals to learn how setups and risk work. FWE supports learning and prop firm challenges with payouts through official banking channels. Confirm legal and tax questions with your bank or a qualified adviser.

Risk warning: past results do not guarantee future results. Forex and gold trading carry a high risk of loss, and you can lose more than you expect if you use large leverage. Pips are not profit in money, and real results change with spread, slippage and lot size. Risk only a small part of your account on each trade. This post is education and not financial advice.
