Gold signal results this week from Forex Wave Expert, 19 to 23 October 2026, showing +520 pips

Gold Signal Results This Week: FWE Reported +520 Pips

Here are the gold signal results this week as reported by Forex Wave Expert (FWE) for 19 to 23 October 2026. The weekly results post lists 3 gold (XAUUSD) signals, all marked as closed in profit, for a reported total of +520 pips. Below you get the table, the two screenshots, last week’s record, a sourced summary of what gold did, and a plain guide to turning pips into money.

How to read these results

These are FWE-reported results taken from the weekly results post and the screenshots below. They have not been audited by anyone outside FWE. Reporting cutoff: Friday 23 October 2026, the date of publication. Trades opened or updated after that are not included. We could not confirm here that the weekly post covers every signal issued that week, so check the original timestamped Telegram messages if completeness matters to you. We also do not know whether the pip figures are before or after spread, commission and slippage, so treat them as gross.

Summary (19 to 23 Oct 2026): 3 signals, 3 wins, 0 losses, 0 break even, reported net +520 pips. The posted total matches the three listed results (130 + 270 + 120 = 520). Three trades is a small sample, so read this as a weekly record, not as a promise.

Last week, 12 to 16 Oct 2026: gold sells on 13 Oct +100, 15 Oct +100 and 16 Oct +120, no stop loss for the week, total +320 pips.

Gold signal results this week (table)

Results are in pips. For gold, 1 pip = 0.10, so +120 pips is a 12.00 dollar move per ounce. The weekly post did not show the date, entry, stop loss (SL) and take profit (TP) of the two buy trades, so those cells say not shown. We do not guess numbers we cannot read.

The sell levels (4029, 4035, 4010) are as read from the Telegram screenshot. We could not check them against the original timestamped message.

Last week’s results for comparison (12 to 16 Oct)

The Weekly Results page also lists the week before: three gold sells with dates and a reported total of +320 pips. The page says there was no stop loss for that week. We read that as no trade ended at its stop, but that is our interpretation of the wording.

DatePairDirectionReported result (pips)Per ounce
13 Oct 2026Gold (XAUUSD)Sell+10010.00 dollars
15 Oct 2026Gold (XAUUSD)Sell+10010.00 dollars
16 Oct 2026Gold (XAUUSD)Sell+12012.00 dollars
Total+32032.00 dollars

The total checks out: 100 + 100 + 120 = 320. Two good weeks in a row say little about how a service performs across many months, including its losing periods.

The Friday sell: risk and reward

The sell was posted at 4029 with a stop loss at 4035 and a target at 4010. That is 6.00 dollars of risk (60 pips) against 19.00 dollars to the target (190 pips), a planned reward to risk of about 3.2 to 1.

The update reported +120 pips, which is 12.00 dollars, or 2.0 times the planned risk (120 divided by 60). If the fill was at 4029, that points to an exit near 4017, below the 4010 target by about 7 dollars. The screenshot does not state the exact exit price, so this is our calculation. We also do not state the reasons behind the exit or any chart indicator reading, because we cannot establish them from the screenshot.

What moved gold this week (19 to 23 October)

This section summarises Reuters reporting from Friday 23 October 2026 (via CNBC and MarketScreener). It is the reporters’ and analysts’ explanation, not proof of what caused each move.

  • Reuters reported spot gold fell below 4,000 for the first time since mid-July, to a session low of 3,986.50, then recovered to about 4,030.67 by 9:18 a.m. New York time (1318 GMT, 7:18 pm in Bangladesh). Earlier Reuters reports that day put spot gold near 4,016 to 4,021.
  • Gold was down 3.2% to 3.6% for the week so far, depending on the time of the report. Reuters described it as the worst week since June.
  • Reuters linked the move to higher oil after Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia, which it said reinforced expectations that the Fed keeps rates higher for longer. Monte Safieddine of Capital.com and Hamad Hussain of Capital Economics offered similar views. These are analyst interpretations, and other factors may have played a part.
  • Reuters said traders largely expected the Fed to hold rates at its 27 to 28 October meeting. Reported odds of a December hike ranged from 76% to 83% across Friday reports, with the 83% figure (1318 GMT) citing CME’s FedWatch Tool. These are market probabilities, not a Fed decision.

The reports we checked focused on oil and rate expectations. They did not establish what role the US dollar played over the whole week, so we make no claim about it. For levels, see our XAUUSD analysis for 23 October 2026.

Does a week with few signals mean less risk?

Not by itself. Beginners often feel they must trade every day, and skipping weak setups can save you from low-quality trades. But total risk depends on your position size, how many positions are open at once and how your broker fills orders. Three trades with large lots can cost more than six trades with small lots. A stop loss also does not guarantee your exit price, because gaps and fast markets can cause slippage.

How to read pips: what +520 pips means in money

Pips are not profit. Your result depends on your lot size, your entry price and your costs. A common beginner mistake is to add up the pips in a results post and assume that is what they would have earned.

Example (hypothetical, not a trade result): +520 pips on gold is 52.00 dollars per ounce. With 1 ounce (0.01 lot on most brokers) that is 52 dollars. With 10 ounces (0.10 lot) it is 520 dollars. These figures ignore spread, commission and slippage. If you enter at a worse price than the posted entry, your pips are lower than the posted pips. A delayed entry can also be at a better price, but you may miss the trade or face a different stop distance. Contract size can differ by broker, so check yours.

Lessons for your own trading

  1. Know your SL before you enter. The sell above had a 60 pip stop. Without that number, you cannot work out lot size or reward to risk.
  2. Size the trade from the stop, not from feeling. See the example below.
  3. Decide your exit rule before the trade. Closing early, taking partial profit or moving the SL to break even (the entry price) can limit the damage if price turns. None of these removes risk, because stops can slip in fast markets and a tight stop can be hit before price continues. You may also leave profit on the table.
  4. Do not copy a signal without your own stop loss. Following someone else’s idea without your own risk limit is gambling.
  5. Judge a provider over many months. A short winning streak does not show future reliability. Look for long records with losses shown openly.

A week with no stop loss hit does not make stop losses optional. Keep your own stop on every position.

Example: lot size for a 60 pip stop (hypothetical)

This is a learning example, not a trade result. Say your account is 10,000 dollars and you risk 1%, which is 100 dollars. Your SL is 60 pips, or 6.00 dollars per ounce. On most brokers 1 standard lot of gold is 100 ounces, so a 6.00 move costs 600 dollars per lot. Lot size = 100 divided by 600 = 0.166, so round down to 0.16 lots. Risk at the stop is about 96 dollars. Spreads, fees and slippage change real results, and contract size can differ by broker. Our lot size guide shows the full method.

Forex signals in Bangladesh: a caution

FWE does not encourage anyone in Bangladesh to deposit or invest with forex brokers. Bangladesh Bank has issued a public warning against what it calls illegal online forex trading and dealing, and the warning refers to the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act 1947. We saw the text as reproduced on a commercial bank’s website, not on the Bangladesh Bank site, so check the original notice and its date at the central bank.

Some IBs (introducing brokers) earn commission or rebates from the clients they refer, so their advice to deposit is not neutral. Treat it with caution.

FWE’s position is to learn properly first. Some traders consider prop firm challenges, but challenge fees, taking part, foreign exchange transactions and payouts each need separate verification. Banking documentation alone does not make an activity legal, and a bank being able to process a payment does not settle the legal question. Confirm with your bank or a qualified legal or tax adviser before you pay or accept anything. Our Bangla guide covers the legal side: বাংলাদেশে ফরেক্স ট্রেডিং বৈধ কিনা? প্রপ ফার্ম ও আইনি দিক.

What to watch next week

The Fed meets on 27 to 28 October. The decision is normally released at 2:00 pm New York time, which would be midnight in Bangladesh (GMT+6), the night of Wednesday into Thursday 29 October. Confirm the time on the day. Spreads often widen and price can move sharply in both directions, so read how to trade gold during FOMC before you plan a trade.

Frequently Asked Questions

What were the FWE gold signal results this week?

For 19 to 23 October 2026, FWE reported two gold buys (+130 and +270 pips) and one gold sell (+120 pips), a total of +520 pips with no losses listed. These are FWE-reported figures as of 23 October 2026 and have not been audited externally.

How many pips did FWE gold signals make last week?

For 12 to 16 October 2026, the FWE Signals app lists three gold sells on 13, 15 and 16 October with +100, +100 and +120 pips. The reported total is +320 pips.

Where can I see the weekly results?

The FWE Signals app has a Weekly Results page in its Premium Access section. Per the FWE team it keeps the latest four weeks, not a full archive. Check the Forex Wave Expert website for current access and download details.

How many pips is 1 dollar in gold?

On gold, 1 pip equals 0.10, so a 1.00 dollar move is 10 pips. A 12.00 dollar move is 120 pips. Some brokers call this a point, so check how your platform quotes it before you size a trade.

How do I judge a signal provider’s results?

Ask for original timestamped signals, every amendment and every closing update, not only a weekly summary. Check that losses are included and whether spread and commission are counted. A few winning weeks, or even 100% in a short sample, say little about the future.

Why did gold fall this week?

Reuters reporting on 23 October 2026 linked the fall to higher oil prices after Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia, which it said supported higher-for-longer Fed rate expectations. That is a reported explanation, not proof of a single cause.
